The Right Honourable Sir Elliot Doe, (born February 12) is a South Carolinian micronationalist and the former Chancellor of Elysium, a nation of which he is a local citizen. Before serving as Chancellor he served as an Commonwealth Senator in Elyria, Leader of the Third Party, Leader of the Opposition, and is currently a Grand Senator as well as Chancellor. He is best known for being the founder and leader of the Elysiumite Nationalist Democrats successor of the Democratic Traditionalist and one of two major parties alongside the Progressives. He is a self described Kylite democrat and is credited by many for leading Elysium's conservative revival in 2021 and 2022, as well as for reviving traditional styles of Kylite democracy in Elysium. He entered into politics as a DT, but in response to the party abandoning Kylite democracy he founded the Nationalist Democrats, then called National Conservative Party, in order to push for royalism, nationalism, and right-wing populism. Upon surpassing the Union Democrats within only a few weeks the Union Democrats granted Elliot Doe a list seat, which needed to be filled following May Cambridge's resignation, and merged into the National Conservatives making Elliot Doe leader of the opposition. In the Elysiumite senatorial election, December 2021 Elliot Doe led the Natioanlist Democrats to an outright majority in the Grand Senate, the next day he was sworn in as Chancellor by Grand Emperor Robert II.
He is also a member of the House of Assembly of Caudonia and serving as its Speaker. Within Caudonia he leads the The Democrats and has been accused of serving Elysiumite interests for advocating for Caudonia's unification with Elysium.
Early life
On February 12 Elliot Doe was born in South Carolina where he grew up and currently resides. Not much has been released on his childhood to the public but he has stated that he grew up in a devout Presbyterian family with conservative parents. He has also stated that he is ethnically German and English but his family doesn't celebrate many customs of either people group is culturally Dixie.
He has also stated as a young child he was found of studying history and in particular the history of the United States, Germany, and United Kingdom. Once reaching his early teens he claims to have began to become interested in political ideas and in particular of the history of Toryism and the history of American conservatism, in large part due to his family. He began to self identify as a conservative at a young age and in particular states he was inspired by Bejamin Disreali and Alexander Hamilton. His interest in politics led him to discover micronationalism and upon learning of the existence of Elysium, a local micronation in his area he joined the Empire of Elysium in mid 2020.
Early Political Career
When Elliot Doe first joined Elysium he actively sought to get involved in politics. His initial distaste to join Elysium's discord stopped him from serving in the Grand Senate however and without the Elyrian Senate existing yet he merely joined the Democratic Traditionalist, he was an avid supporter of Kyle Smith, Chris Ramsay, and other conservative politicians within Elysium. Upon the DTs merging with the Progressive-Libertarian into the Reform Party he maintained his membership as a member of the Reform Party, although was one of many locals to request party leaders to censure Tau. Upon the Vox Populi scandal Doe like might most locals denounced Tau for fabricating the scandal to tarnish Elysium. Upon the Reform party and Progressives merging to form the New Elysium Party Elliot Doe registered as an independent due to his opposition to Progressives joining the Kylite democratic movement. During the time of NEP he didn't actively participate in politics other then endorsing Kyle Smith for Chancellor. Upon the calls for the republic reaching new heights he spoke out against republicanism among locals.
