Over the course of his reign, James has held many titles related to Aspen and other micronational projects, So far he has reigned three times as Aspen Emperor, once as King of Appalachia, once as King of Cordonia, and once as Prince of Aspen. His current title has been sustained since the fourth of October, 2020 when the government reformed the Aspen Empire into the Kingdom of Aspen through the October Reforms, although the structure of the government has changed slightly between the October Reforms and present, the name of Aspen and title of its monarch have remained the same. On the thirtieth of July, 2021 the title of King of Aspen was translated into the Aspen language as: Aspens Konig.
