The Imperial Diet (German: Reichstag) was the lower house of the Imperial Assembly, New Europe's legislative branch. It had 11 members, elected indirectly on block lists by proportional representation. Deputies served six-month terms. The President of the Imperial Diet was the analogue to a Speaker and presided over debates in New Europe's lower chamber of parliament.
