The history of Urabbaparcensia is the story of the lands and people associated with the Enactorate of Urabbaparcensia (formerly Urabba Parks Pty Ltd).

Purchase of 4 Urabba Street and incorporation

The founder, D.J. Racovolis, purchased what is now Urabba Street Reserve in 2011, and in early 2012 decided to pursue what is now known in Urabbaparcensia as charitable democracy, having a charity delivering benefit to the wider community but also having a unique identity as a micronation. Mr Racovolis applied to register the company Urabba Parks Pty Ltd under the Corporations Act 2001 of the Commonwealth of Australia on 3 July 2012 (the company being incorporated that day), and for registration as a charity with the federal charity regulator, the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, which was granted on 3 December 2012.[1]

Adoption of the current Constitution

For the first 9 years of its existence, Urabba Parks Pty Ltd was governed by a "conventional" charitable company constitution, which was slightly modified to allow for its status as a share issuing entity. The current Urabbaparcensian Constitution establishes Urabba Parks as a 'non-state jurisdiction' with a Hellenic and Landcare jurisdiction to advance humanity and the environment together in a charitable and democratic nature. The Urabba Parks Proprietary Limited Constitution Statute 2021 was officially enacted and proclaimed on 5 March 2021, in a ceremony attended by the Founder himself (now referred to in Urabbaparcensia as the Enactor).

Integration into the Empire of Imvrassia

On 23 June 2022, Aggelos I, Emperor of Imvrassia declared Urabbaparcensia an Hegemony of the Empire of Imvrassia under the name Hegemony of Urabba Parks. Mr Racovolis now holds the honorary title of Sebastokrator of Urabba Parks, in addition the substantive title Enactor. The affiliation to Imvrassia is intended to advance the Hellenic character of Urabbaparcensia.

Tenth anniversary

On 3 July 2022, Urabba Parks Pty Ltd celebrated its 10th anniversary as an incorporated company.

New Eurabba region

On 14 August 2022, the Grand Duchy of Flandrensis announced the creation of the Flandrensian Ecological County of Urabba as a territory of Urabba Parks located at Urabba Street Reserve.[2] A treaty was signed on 18 August authorising the creation of the County, which recognises Urabba Street Reserve as an ecological sanctuary under the Constitution of the Grand Duchy, while respecting the Traditional Ownership of the Wiradjuri people and the status of Urabba Parks as an Imvrassian Hegemony.[3] A year later the reforms instituted by the Blackstump Acts, the Urabba territory became a region of Urabbaparcensia as the Flandrensian Ecological County of New Eurabba, encompassing all Urabbaparcensian activities within Ward B of Carrathool Shire, New South Wales.

Blackstump Acts

On 11 August 2023, the monarch purchased a property in Gunbar, New South Wales, later named Promachos[4], for incorporation into the New Eurabba region. As a result three Acts of the Parliament, known collectively as the Blackstump Acts, were passed, including the Divisional Amendment (New Eurabba) Act 2023, that reformed the Urabba territory into the New Eurabba region, as well as the Membership (Promachos) Act 2023 and Membership (Athena Urabbanakis Society) Act 2023, that issued membership for payment of the acquisition of Promachos.[5]
