The Fourth Sea Lord and Controller of the Navy (4SL/CN) is the fifth most senior member of His Royal Navy having primary responsibility for procurement and/or design of ships, as well as recruiting. The position is usually held by an two-fish admiral of His Royal Navy. The current sea lord, since 27 May 2021, is Rear admiral Sander Koff GBE HRN.
