Arcadia officially known as the Federal States of Arcadia (Ukrainian: Федеральні штати Аркадія, Japanese: アルカディア連邦州 Spanish: Estados Federales de Arcadia) is a Self-proclaimed sovereign state with limited diplomatic recognition located in the Rhode Island Sector with territory throughout the New England Sector which was founded by Terry McKeen III and Conor Newman on May 19, 2022 after the 2022 May Zepranan Civil War between Matthew Cunningham, Bryce Smith, and Terry McKeen III divided the Federal Republic of Zeprana into multiple nation states. The Federal States is composed of 5 states as well as a Capital district. It is the New England Sector's largest micronation by both land area and by population, Arcadia borders the Federal Republic of Zeprana as well as the Republic of Avyanna and Taijana to the South and the Springtoner Republic of Kaiserton to the west. With more than 59,000 people residing within it's borders, Arcadia ranks as the most populace nation in New England and is the largest by land area. The Capital city of the nation is Amesston, the largest city which is also the Financial centre of the nation is Kaiserton City, which is it's former capital. In 1636, Rhode Island was founded by Roger Williams after his banishment from Massachusetts as one of the original Thirteen Colonies. For thousands of years prior, the land had been inhabited by Native Americans. The first Micronation which was founded on the land was the United Commonwealth of Zeprana, which would later become the Commonwealth of Zeprana and the Federal Republic of Zeprana, after the Zepranan Civil Conflict, Arcadia was founded by Terry McKeen III and Conor Newman as a breakaway state from Zeprana, however, it soon wished to become independent fully in a more serious sense, and since has advocated for Independence from the United States of America and to be a Macronation rather than just a Micronation, something many other Micronations in the area are still yet to do.
Arcadia is a Democratic Presidential Federal republic with Three separated branches of government, these branches include the Legislative, Presidential, and Judaical branches of government. Aspects of the national government include a Presidential cabinet, a Bicameral legislature, and a Democratically elected court. Arcadia is a founding member of the New England Mutual Cooperation Agreement (NEMCA) and is a full member of the Pact of 4 between the Kingdom of Fontasia, Empire of Meritia and the Kingdom of Scynja. With it being considered a Melting pot of Cultures and Ethnicites, Arcadia's population has been widely shaped for years from Immigration. Arcadia is a Right wing democracy, it ranks high on the international measures of Economic freedom, Human development and quality of life, Education, and Human rights. Unlike many other Western nations, Arcadia has low levels of Political corruption. Like many other western democracies Arcadia has Universal Health Care however, like its closest bordering nation, America - it retains Capital Punishment and has high amounts of Wealth and social Inequality. Arcadia is a Highly developed 1st world country and its economy accounts for a majority of the wealth in its Geographical area. Arcadia ranks as one of the most capable Micronations in terms of Economic power, Military power, and Political Power. Although the nation only accounts for a small amount of the citizens of all Micronations, it still accounts for a majority of the GDP of all Micronations. Arcadia is one of the largest Importers and Exporters when it comes to Micronations, with it boasting both imports and exports of Chickens and other livestock, food products, and lumber. Arcadia also supports a GDP which is supported by these imports and exports, with many Arcadians selling products into the United States Markets. By value, Arcadia is the largest nation economically in the entirety of the New England Sector, with many citizens believing that the nation is the Sole superpower of the New England Sector. The nation is also widely viewed as the New England Sector's leading nation on the forefronts of science, military, and political power.

The Federal States of Arcadia as the name may suggest is a Federal republic, with it officially being a Democratic Federal republic with it being composed of 5 states, 1 Capital and 3 overseas territories. With it being a Representative democracy, the nation utilizes a Democratically elected government Legislature, with all representatives and government administration members being democratically elected. Under the Constitution, all citizens have access to Universal healthcare, Equal rights before the law, and other Human rights. Some rights which citizens of the nation are guaranteed to are the Right to vote and are granted other Economic, social and cultural rights. In the nations Federalist system, citizens are subject to three levels of government, local government, state government, and federal government. The Local government of the nation is in most cases managed by various town and city councils - local government duties are commonly split between these government bodies. The State and Provincial government of the nation is composed of the governments of states and State legislatures, while the Federal Government is composed of the three main branches of government, The Presidency and executive branch and the Judaical Branch. The Federal government discharges the day to day state duties of the nation and is the government which represents the nation on the world stage. Multiple Checks and balances are instituted within all three levels of government, with these checks and balances, it os established that there are three forever separate and distinct branches of government. The government is regulated in its power by the Constitution of Arcadia, which is the founding document and most basic and most supreme form of Legislation within the nation. The constitution established the basic fundamental provisions for government of the nation and provides for the power of the government. The constitution has never been amended to date - however the Legislative branch with a two thirds majority vote can institute amendments to the constitution. The constitution establishes the duties of the government also, and provides for the relationship between states and the federal government. All laws and standing orders of the Arcadian government are subjected to judicial review by the courts, and any article of legislation ratified by any government branch or layer can voided if a Court of law determines that it is unconstitutional.
The federal government comprises of the following branches:
- Legislative Branch - The unicameral Legislature of Arcadia composes the Legislative Branch, which is known as the National Assembly.
- Executive Branch - Also known as the Presidential Branch, is the executive branch of government which is composed of the Office of the Arcadian Federal President and his or her cabinet - the branch discharges the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the arcadian federal government such as state and foreign affairs as well as internal policy.
- Judaical Branch - The Judicial Branch is the branch of government which is composed of the entirety of the Civil and criminal court system of Arcadia. The Judaical Branch is led by the Attorney General and the Cheif Justice of the Supreme Court.
Executive Branch
The Executive Branch of the Arcadian Government is the leading branch and is widely viewed as the most power Branch of the government. The executive branch discharges the day-to-day duties of the Federal government as well as the state and diplomatic duties abroad. The executive branch is composed of the President, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and their Presidential Cabinet, which advises the President on the running of the day-to-day affairs of the nation. Unlike in many other Micronations, the President does not hold a seat in the legislature, and branches of government are proprietorially separated, with no member of one branch holding an office in another. The President is elected every six years in a public vote were all citizen who have attained the age of thirteen years old are entitled to vote. The President is entitled to run for a period of two terms, and can serve for a maximum term of twelve years. The President either appoints the Prime Minister as well as the 2nd Vice President during his or her campaign for President or after they have been elected. The President, in their capacity as Head of State represents Arcadia in all foreign dealings and interactions, and can prepare treaties with the advice of the House of Representatives, he or she also can appoint and dismiss Secretaries who are the leaders of departments and members of the cabinet their pleasure. The President may issue executive orders, grant pardons, and receive and grant ambassadors, typically, the President is viewed as the most powerful politician in the nation. The Prime Minister in their capacity as Head of Government is the Vice Chairman and the presiding officer of the Cabinet of Department Secretaries and is also a member of many other government bodies, such as the National Security Council, Foreign Affairs Council, Domestic Economic Council, and the Board of the Chamber of Commerce. The Deputy Prime Minister is the equivalent of a Deputy Vice President. The Prime Minister holds an honorary seat in the House of Representatives, however they can only vote if the current house vote is tied.
