The Coup against the United Government Alliance or the April 7 Coup was the first coup against the National Government of the Arstotzkan Union since the Second Civil Conflict.

Background
Not much is understood about the reasons for the coup, however it became heavily influential towards the image of the Arstotzkan Union for the dealings with violent acts. Many have claimed that the April 7 coup was the nail in the coffin for the peaceful public image the Arstotzkan Union has been working towards for years.
Events
At 16:55 on 7 April, the President of the Arstotzkan Union was alerted to a possible coup against the National Government led by the head members of the Arstotzkan Labour Party. It was found out that Vice President Zion Ormsby was leading the coup.
At 18:37 Arstotzkan Labour Party Chairman Brooklyn Le-Comte informed the National Assembly that Zion was not starting a coup and that he was looking at joining the Party.
At 18:42 President Ethan Brinkman declared the coup over.
Aftermath
On 1 May 2020, the Arstotzkan Union went into the nations first democratic elections and the UGA won a landslide 71.4% victory in the election. Eventually the Arstotzkan Labour Party joined the United Government Alliance and the two parties created the Second Democratic People's Party of the Arstotzkan Union, which today stands as the nations largest party.
