Ae is a fictional Cubian politician who was leader of the Anti-Anime Party and Cube Controller in 2020. He was a Council Member for the Cubia City region from April to August 2020.

Pre-premiership

On 26 March 2020, Great Leader Llanfairpwllgwyngyll announced his intention not to stand as Cube Controller.^[1] Later, Ae stood in the March 2020 Anti-Anime Party leadership election , fending off challenges from Giggleswick and New Invention.^[2]

Premiership

Ae was elected by a landslide in April, with 80% of Cube Council seats.^[3]

First term

Ae's first term was at first uneventful, with the only major event being 2 AAP members defecting to Alternative for Cubia.^[4] Then, Cubia declared war on the Reddit Nation.^[5] At the end of the term, the Cubian National Bank, unveiled the first Cubecoin notes.

Second term

In May, Ae was reelected by a reduced majority. During the second term, Ae floated the possibility of foreign relations with the Timonocite Empire. The last action taken by the Ae administration was the renaming of Cubia North to Brimley County.

Post-premiership

The AAP lost the August election, and Ae resigned AAP leadership after losing his Cubia City seat. He then gained a list seat after corrections by Elections Cubia. He also regained leadership that day.

Second term as AAP leader

Ae faced a challenge from New Invention, Spuds and Copter for AAP leadership in the August 2020 Anti-Anime Party leadership election. He faced elimination on the first ballot, but stayed long enough to make it to the final round. He lost the leadership of the AAP by one vote.

Backbenches

When the CNP and DPC formed, Ae opted to join the CNP, because of its more hard-line policies. He was not picked as CNP candidate for Cubia City, so he opted to run as an Independent in October. He did not win his seat back.
