A referendum on whether Cubia should be a republic took place from Friday 1 May 2020 - Sunday 3 May 2020. If it succeeds, every year, the week after the general election, any party with a CM not in the cabinet can suggest a CM to become Cubelord.[a] The election will take place with supplementary vote. The current Cubelord is Great Leader Llanfairpwllgwyngyll of the Anti-Anime Party. The "No" side won with 75% voting against.
