The Democratic Party of Cubia was a Cubian political party which was formed as a result of the creation of the Cubian National Party.

History

The DPC was in opposition for most of its lifetime until the January 2021 Cubian general election. During the 2021 Cubian political crisis, Chairman and Cubelord Great Leader Llanfairpwllgwyngyll resigned from the party and its leadership.

Ideology

The DPC's philosophy was similar to that of the American Democratic Party, but rather having a more populist agenda. It also believed in a philosophy called "Aimperium", which states that some monarchies are "dead" monarchies, and any attempts to recreate them will not be recognised. Examples of "dead" monarchies include the Roman Empire, and New Eiffel. It supported the integration of Pig Latin as the second official language of Cubia.
