Shaun Jacobs (born 9 March 1969), is a South African retail-worker and part time micronationalist who has been serving as the first Minister of State for South African Affairs at the Interior Ministry of Roscamistan since 27 December 2021 and as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior since 18 April 2022. He is the father of the first, third, and fifth President of Roscamistan, Thomas Jacobs. Jacobs also served as the acting party President of Republican Bloc from 20 October 2022 to 10 December 2022.
He was also a candidate in the February 2022 Roscamistan presidential election, coming third place behind Ludwig Collins and the winner Doros Patusky, and often jokes about overthrowing the Roscami Government.
Micronationalism
Jacobs would become aware of his son Thomas’ micronation, Roscamistan, in April 2021. He became a citizen soon after, and wouldn’t do much until early 2022, when he would run for President of Roscamistan, in the February 2022 Roscamistan presidential election. He would come third place, ahead of Samuel Newman and behind Ludwig Collins. Jacobs would in 2021 and 2022 participate in the Empire of Barnland and the Kingdom of Dungailliamh, serving as Crown Prince in both of them.
