The politics of Forestia operates on a federal presidential representative democratic republic in which the President is both head of state and government in a multi-party system. The political organization of Forestia governs the territory of the 3 states and Yuwa-Kati.
The government is separated into three branches: executive, judiciary and legislative. The executive branch is lead by the President, who is advised by the cabinet. The legislation is governed by the National Assembly, which is a unicameral body composed of senators, ministers, and the President and Vice President, and members who are appointed by each state's governor.

Government
Administrative divisions
Forestia's territory is divided into three states, alongside Yuwa-Kati. Both the states and Yuwa-Kati are self-governing entities which are controlled by the federal government and the constitution. The head of each state is referred to as a governor and they are responsible for administering the state and appointing members to the National Assembly. The executive power of the states is held by an elected Governador (Governor) and is advised by Secretários (Secretaries).
