The MicroWiki Foundation, abbreviated as MWF, is the governing body of MicroWiki. Created with intention to clarify the rights and duties of specific senior staff members under the site ownership of Jonathan Augustus and Karl Friedrich, it has been expanded to create the governing body of MicroWiki and its associated spaces. Governed by its charter, it describes the rights and duties of each senior staff member, the funding of the Wiki and serves as an internal extension to several other enforcement policies on MicroWiki.

Foundation members

All members of the Foundation are also members of the administration team, and all the rights and duties of all admins apply to them. They are expected to abide by the code of conduct, content policies and serve as a good example to not only other admins, but to all users of the website. All members of the Foundation barring the Owner are appointed and dismissed by the Foundation.

Site owner

Site owner is the person holding the intellectual property rights to the Wiki -- its domain name, servers and any associated legal rights or responsibilities. The chief role of the site owner is to ensure the financial solvency of the Wiki, and jointly with the Head Admin, the site owner is an arbitrator of MicroWiki policy.

Head admin

Head admin is a member appointed by the Foundation to steer the MicroWiki admin team in directing and enforcing of policy, proposes or dismiss the team members with the consent of other Foundation members, and along with the Site Owner, is the final arbitrator of MicroWiki policy.

Tech admin

Tech admin's is responsible for managing the technical aspects of keeping the website on-line and offer expertise in technical matters.

Safety officer

The Safety Officer is the chief point of contact for all safeguarding issues encountered by users of the website, regardless of their admin or Foundation status. Safety officer is primarily concerned with ensuring the safety and well-being of users of the Wiki and its associated spaces, allowing them to veto or undo any administrative decisions, if any such violation could or did occur. The person fulfilling this role is expected to be qualified and experienced in the field of trust and safety.

Discord server owner

Owner of the Discord server is entrusted to manage the official Discord server on behalf of the Foundation, and is appointed by the site owner.
