Honors and noble titles of Landopia
The Honors and noble titles of the Kingdom of Landopia are all the chivalric and noble orders awarded by King Carlo I, fons honorum of the Kingdom of Landopia. The purpose of the honors is to reward citizens for their acts of benevolence towards their homeland. Non-residents of the Kingdom of Landopia can also be assigned.
Requirements and prohibitions
The assignment of honours, decorations and chivalric distinctions, in any form and denomination, by bodies, associations and natural persons extraneous to the Government of the Kingdom of Landopia is prohibited. In case of High Treason, contempt (to the flag, the nation or the King) or subversion of the established order, all honours, noble titles and state offices will be removed immediately by royal decree.
Honors and awards
As of 5 June 2024, new honorifics are being developed for the Kingdom of Landopia, as the honorific system is full of organizational and hierarchical gaps.
- Most Excellent Order of Saint Cæcilia (Italian: Eccellentissimo Ordine di Santa Cecilia)
- Order of Merit of the Kingdom of Landopia (Italian: Ordine al Merito del Regno di Landopia)
- Royal War Order (Italian: Regio Ordine Bellico)
- Order of the Arts (Italian: Ordine delle Arti)
- Order of Merit for the Sport (Italian: Medaglia ai benemeriti dello Sport)
Institute of Heraldry
The Heraldic Council is the college established by the Kingdom of Landopia in 2024 to give opinions to the government regarding noble titles and coats of arms. It is, together with King Carlo I, the highest consultative body in the heraldic field of the Landopian monarchical system.
Peerage
The noble titles are assigned according to the criteria desired by the monarch of the kingdom. State authorities who have contributed to the development of the country are rewarded with a title and a personal coat of arms, created by the Institute of Heraldry of Landopia. Titles are awarded based on regions of the nation. The mottos of the coats of arms, if present, must be written in Latin, at most in Italian.
