The Landopian East Indies Company (Italian: Compagnia Landopiana delle Indie Orientali) is a trading and political company of the Kingdom of Landopia.
The Company was created with the purpose of managing trade between the Kingdom of Landopia and the regions of the Americas and Asia, especially India;[a] as well as a commercial reference point in the micro-international landscape. Several similar companies existed in various Macronations such as the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Holland.
History
The history of the company begins on 5 October 2024 when the King asked the President of the Institute of Heraldry to create the coat of arms for a new royal and national company for the trade of export goods of the kingdom.[1]
The next day the king appointed Gabriele Hallmann as the company's first chancellor, defining the provisions of the role conferred upon him in a meeting.[2]
Company Organization
The company sits under the direct control of the King and His Majesty's Government. However, the company has a hierarchical head, called "chancellor", who arranges the updates and trade projects of the company to the two organs of the nation.
Territorial organization
Currently the company does not have any territory. However, with the legislative development of it, mercantile settlements will be created for the supply and trade of goods.
