The Institute of Statistics of Landopia (Italian: Istituto di Statistica Landopiano) is the official body responsible for collecting, analyzing and publishing statistical data of the Kingdom of Landopia. Established on October 2024, the ISL plays a crucial role in supporting political planning and decision-making by providing information on various socio-economic and demographic aspects of the country.

Through periodic reports, surveys and studies, the ISL provides to His Majesty's Government, the King and the Senate, as well as the citizens of the kingdom, with the information necessary to understand the demographic, political, social, ideological (and other topics) state of the nation.

History

The first task undertaken by the institute, and of great importance, was the national census, the first of its kind. The institute had to ask every single citizen for the information present in the items on the list, such as date of birth, political orientation and minor information.

Tasks

The Institute has a series of tasks to ensure the collection and analysis of statistical data. First, it is responsible for planning and conducting surveys on economic, demographic and social issues. Once collected, the data is processed and analyzed to extract information needed for the census. The institute then produces the report on this information and summaries of the results, which are then disseminated to the public through the publication of the documents in question or with the creation of a MicroWiki page.

The Institute also offers advice to all interested parties on the interpretation and use of statistical data.
