The Landopian Space Agency (Italian: Agenzia Spaziale Landopiana)[a] is the government body responsible for coordinating the space and aerospace activities of the Kingdom of Landopia.
Established on 16 October 2024[1] with the aim of promoting space exploration, technological innovation and scientific research, the LSA plays a central role in the development of national space programs. Its space missions include launching satellites, exploring celestial bodies and participating in global Earth and solar system observation projects.
History
The king, during the development plan of the nation and government bodies, decided to establish a space agency in order to enhance the scientific and space research carried out in the kingdom. So on 16 October 2024 the king, with Royal Decree, proclaimed the establishment of the agency.[1]
Goals and Tasks
The goals the agency has set for itself are:
- Periodic testing of new spacecraft designed and built in the state;
- Government promotion of the public interest in sciences such as physics and astronomy;
- Development of new telescope technologies.
As time goes by, the agency grows and new employees are hired, the goals will increase.
