The Landopian crown (Italian: Corona landopiana, Fellinese: Cùrunn-a or Cùrunn-a landeuppiann-a) is the national currency of the Kingdom of Landopia, established and officially recognized on 14 October 2024 minted by the Bank of Landopia. It was created with the aim to promote economic stability inside the nation.
The Landopian crown is not part of the currently valid European Exchange Rate Mechanism II. However Landopia, in addition to the national paper money, is the single currency of the European Union, the Euro.
Etimology
The name of the currency, namely Corona Landopiana has a simple etymological meaning. The first word, namely Corona, derives from the Latin "corona", which literally means "crown". In fact, as in other European nations like Denmark or Sweden, this term is often associated with royalty and is common in many currencies of countries with monarchical traditions. It therefore symbolizes the monarchical sovereignty of the nation. The second and last word, namely Landopiana, is a descriptive adjective to define the nation to which the currency belongs, namely Landopia.
