The Bank of the Kingdom of Landopia (Italian: Banca del Regno di Landopia) more often and simply known as the Bank of Landopia, is the central banking institution of the Kingdom of Landopia, founded on 14 October 2024 by Carlo I.[1] Headquartered in the capital city of Capoburgo, the bank was established with the aim of establishing a stable and sustainable financial system, promoting economic growth and ensuring the monetary stability of the country and consolidating its economic sovereignty.

The National Bank is responsible for issuing the national currency, the Landopian crown, and managing monetary policies, with the aim of controlling inflation and stabilizing exchange rates. It also plays a crucial role in monitoring and regulating the country's banking system, ensuring that financial institutions operate in a safe and responsible manner.

The National Bank was founded in a context where the Landopian economy was completely non-existent until that time.

History

The National Bank of the Kingdom of Landopia was founded on 13 October 2024 by Carlo I, following the discovery of the economic section of the Classification systems for micronations. The need for a central banking institution, therefore, emerged from the popular will to establish an autonomous financial system and to guarantee economic stability after years of economic instability.

The National Bank was therefore established with the task of issuing the new national currency, the Landopian crown, and managing the monetary policies of the country. For the role of governor, the first in the history of the bank, Carlo I appointed Gabriel Hallmann.

Currency

The Landopian crown is the official currency of Landopia, introduced on 14 October 2024 by the Bank. This new paper money was created as part of an economic reform aimed at modernizing the nation's monetary system and improving economic stability.
