History of Northudankton
The history of Northudankton began with its founding on October 14, 2016, by Jonathan T. Freeman. From its inception in 2016 until 2021, it's history was not well-documented. During these initial years, efforts were primarily focused on establishing the micronation and its core values, which led to a lack of systematic record-keeping. As a result, detailed accounts of the development of the micronation during this period are sparse.
Documentation improved significantly with the establishment of the Community of Duikienin and the launch of the Out The Window v3 live broadcast on April 17, 2021. These initiatives provided a structured platform for recording and disseminating information, ensuring a consistent historical record of Northudankton's activities and development from that point onwards. This marked a clear shift towards more reliable and accessible documentation practices within the micronation.
This page is the official history log of the micronation of Northudankton, managed by the Northudankton Ministry of the Interior. All entries must follow the specific guidelines passed by the High Council. This is not a list of all events in the history of Northudankton, only major or notable events that have documented historical evidence.
2016
Northudankton in 2016, then known as Jonthania, was primarily focused on establishing the basics of micronational, that being a name, a flag, land claims, an office, and citizens. The land claims for the nation fluctuated during this period and were way larger than current day. Others main focuess were on distributing citizenship application forms, citizenship cards, and campaigning for local school resource officer, Officer Gerrard, for US President through a petition. Jonthania used to be ruled with an iron fist to secure control of the old Duisien lands. They claimed to be a fascist nation, without truly knowing what fascism was except for that Jonthania had a dictator and so did most every fascist country. However, Northudankton today is a socialist nation and denounces the previous classification.

The town hall provided an opportunity for citizens to hear directly from the Chancellor-Elect regarding his vision for the future of Northudankton, including plans for governance and community engagement.
- 23rd:
- King Jon I convened a text-only minor High Council meeting (HC-2024-3b) to discuss a proposal from the Würtige Empire. The proposal, presented by their Foreign Minister, Sir Newton, offered Northudankton the chance to establish formal diplomatic relations with the Würtige Empire and its seven member states. Chancellor-Elect Lord Edward reviewed the Würtige Empire's MicroWiki page and recommended moving forward with the relations, noting that the information appeared in order, despite menti oning "some unusual lore". King Jon I emphasized the potential benefits of these relations, including increased recognition and the possibility of recruiting new citizens. With no objections from the High Council, the meeting was adjourned, and the decision to establish diplomatic relations with the Würtige Empire was confirmed.
- The Monarch discovered an archive of old Northudankton photos from the foundation era on Google Images, including the previously lost first photo of the Northudankton flag and the photo of the handshake between the leaders of Northudankton and Nimland that ended the Northu-Nimmish War.
- 25th: King Jon I, in his capacity as the Supreme Justice of the Grand Unified Micronational, chaired the second half of the day's GUM Quorum session after the session was initially adjourned following a motion to adjourn, which occurred before another delegate's motion could be addressed. Following protests and advisement from the former Chair regarding the legality of the adjournment, the Supreme Justice vetoed the decision to adjourn the meeting, citing the precedent that adjournment motions do not take preference over other motions. As a result, the quorum was reconvened. During the session, there was an extensive discussion on the topic of banning and denouncing fascism in all forms and from membership in the organization. The quorum voted to denounce all forms of fascism and specifically denounced the New Rubix Republic for its fascist symbolism. The quorum then adjourned again after national reports were presented. The King, Supreme Justice of the GUM, commented that this was the first time in the position of chairing the GUM quorum and that he thought his handling was satisfactory.
- 26th: The Imperial Council of the Würtige Empire ratified the Treaty of Formal Relations Between the Würtige Empire and the United Micro-Federation of Northudankton. The Würtige-Northu Treaty of 2024 is now active.
- 27th: An accusation was levied against King Jon I in his capacity as the Supreme Justice of the Grand Unified Micronational (GUM) by Emperor Adam I of Adammia. At 2:03 PM, Emperor Adam I formally informed the GUM Supreme Court of his intention to bring a claim for judicial review. The claim centered on the events of August 25, 2024, where King Jon I, acting as the Chair of the Quorum, vetoed a procedural motion to adjourn the session. Emperor Adam I argued that the veto contravened GUM Charter 7.I.2(4) and asserted that the motion to adjourn was lawful and within the discretion of the Chair according to GUMC 5.2(2) and Robert’s Rules of Order. The Emperor requested that the Supreme Court acknowledge the veto as unlawful and issue an order to exclude the reconvened Quorum from official records. He did not seek to overturn the substantive motions passed during the reconvened session. Emperor Adam I requested a response from the Supreme Court by August 29, 2024. In response, King Jon I drafted a defense asserting that his actions were fully within the authority granted to him by the GUM Charter. King Jon I emphasized that GUM Charter Article 7.I.2(4) empowers the Supreme Justice to veto any Quorum motion deemed unlawful, and this authority extends to all decisions made by Quorum. He explained that the veto was necessary to ensure that a motion to condemn the use of fascist symbolism, which had been made and seconded but not addressed, was not unlawfully bypassed. King Jon I argued that the GUMC 5.2(3) explicitly requires the Chair to ensure that any discussion or vote requested by two or more members takes place promptly, and the motion to adjourn would have violated this requirement. Furthermore, King Jon I highlighted that his decision was based on the clear wording of the GUM Charter and Statutes, and not on external procedures like Robert’s Rules of Order, which are not codified within the GUM’s governing documents. He concluded by asserting that his veto was both lawful and necessary to uphold the procedural integrity of Quorum and ensure that critical issues were addressed in accordance with GUM law.
- 28th: Northu Inauguration Day 2024 occurred with two ceremonies. The first ceremony was held at 3:00 PM EST for animal and figurine office holders: Theodora Von Whiskerworth, a feline, was inaugurated as Chair of the Northudankton Assembly of Commoners (NAC), Bob Skeleton for his second term as Sheriff of the Northudankton Community Guard, Albert Owlston for his second term as Governor of the Duikienin Community Observational District, and Eugene Trieye for his third term as Mayor of the Community of Duikienin. The second ceremony began at 4:47 PM EST, during which Lord Edward was officially sworn in as the incumbent and Second Chancellor of Northudankton at 4:49 PM, now recognized as Chancellor Edward. During his oath, Edward accidentally said, "I pledge to withhold the rights and welfare of every citizen" instead of "I pledge to uphold the rights and welfare of every citizen" before correction, leading some to comment it was a Freudian slip.
- 30th:
- A new official map of Greater Duikienin and a new logo for the High Council of Northudankton was released by King Jon I.
- Emperor Adam I of Adammia decided against pursuing legal action against the King, Supreme Justice Jon I, as previously intended. At 4:27 PM CDT, he communicated his decision to focus on discussing the matter in open Quorum, preferring to avoid setting a legal precedent in the largely untested context of procedural motions. This stance was welcomed by allies within the GUM, including Jon I, leading to discussions about the importance of adhering to the principles of the GUM Charter during Quorum sessions. The King plans on presenting his defense and argument to Quorum in the September 1st session. He has also stated, "I stand confidently behind my decisions and interpretations as Supreme Justice, and I am proud to defend and argue my positions to Quorum. I aim to set the record straight about the rights associated with seconded motions and the proper procedures for adjournment motions under GUM law. Our governance must be guided by the principles outlined in our Charter, prioritizing these over any external parliamentary procedures. This discussion is essential to uphold the integrity of our organization."
- 31st: The High Council convened for its regular meeting, HC-2024-4, from 8:34 PM to 8:45 PM CDT. This meeting marked the first under the tenure of Chancellor Edward and was publicly broadcasted. The session progressed with a focus on the pre-established agenda, introducing no new motions. Discussions primarily covered the successful implementation of the Northudankton Tours Pilot Program and forthcoming tours of Duikienin. Additionally, positive developments following the decisions made during HC-2024-3b were reviewed, particularly regarding Northudankton’s diplomatic relations with the Würtige Empire. The meeting also addressed recent accusations leveled against King Jon I by Emperor Adam I of Adammia. The Chancellor took the floor near the end of the session prior to adjournment to state his intentions of moving forward with pro-union and pro-worker legislation in the subsequent meeting. HC-2024-5 was scheduled for 12 October 2024.
September
- 1st:
- The Kabaar, King Jon I, delivered the 41st Monthly Address for Northudankton in Central Duikienin on the Out The Window live stream. The address took place from 4:47 PM to 4:58 PM and featured a basic current weather report then updates on the latest events and observations since the last address.
- The Imperial Council of the Würtige Empire, henceforth known as the Empire, proposed Northudankton’s potential membership in the Empire while retaining its complete sovereignty through the Second Würtige State Joining Treaty. The Kabaar, interested in maintaining internal and sovereign control, sought the High Council’s approval. Key treaty points discussed included property rights and land commerce. The High Council later voted unanimously in favor of the proposal.
- 2nd: The United Micro-Federation of Northudankton officially became a member state of the Würtige Empire[1]. Following the High Council's unanimous approval of the Second Würtige State Joining Treaty, the Empire’s Imperial Council held a formal vote, resulting in unanimous support for Northudankton’s membership.
- 4th: The Grand Unified Micronational (GUM) special chair elections experienced significant controversy with the announcement of the Lowe-Snagoveanu campaign. Pio Lowe, head of state of the New Rubix Republic, had previously been denounced in a motion by Quorum for the continued use of fascist symbolism within New Rubix. Despite repeated requests for the removal of these symbols, they remained unchanged. On this day, prior to the campaign announcement, the MicroWiki pages for both the New Rubix Republic and its ruling party, the Nationalist Workers Party (NWP), were edited. The nation’s main page removed references to the Fatherland Party and its classifications as a one-party state and dictatorship. The NWP’s page was also altered to state that it had been merely “conceptualized” and never officially active, despite prior versions indicating it controlled the New Rubixian Army and Air Force and dictated state policy. These revisions were seen as an attempt to obscure New Rubix's authoritarian past for political gain. Further controversy erupted when a delegate from Lowe’s campaign was accused of attempting to sway another nation to withdraw its endorsement for the Henry-Newton campaign, while suggesting that the fact a fascist person was running for Chair should remain secret until Lowe’s team could conduct “damage control” on MicroWiki pages. These actions, combined with Lowe's refusal to address criticism of the nation's troubling symbolism and authoritarian structure, led to further scrutiny. Newton and others in Quorum argued that had Lowe simply acknowledged that misunderstandings could arise from the articles, the issue might have been resolved earlier. Northudankton, under the leadership of The Kabaar, King Jon I, issued a formal statement[2] condemning Lowe and the New Rubix Republic, highlighting the contradictions in the revisions and the manipulative tactics used by Lowe to revise history and deflect accountability. The statement emphasized Northudankton's commitment to transparency, democracy, and equality and urged GUM members to reject Lowe's candidacy due to his unfitness for leadership and the potential harm his election would cause to the organization's integrity.
- 8th: Undeniable links to fascism, specifically Nazism, was discovered on the New Rubixian Nationalist Workers Party page, further fueling the advocacy against his campaign for Chair of the GUM. New evidence includes, but is not limited to, a comparison between the party's "Fatherland Labour Front" with a gear symbol as part of its logo to the Nazi Party's "German Labour Front" with a similar gear icon. An article[3] was posted by Südwürdigestädter Morgenpost, the official news organization of the Würtige Empire, detailing further evidence against the claim that the fascist iconography of New Rubix's leading party is merely coincidental.
- 9th:
- The High Council of Northudankton awarded President Anthony Barauskis of Tinland the Veteran of Service (VOS) Award. This honor was granted in recognition of his outstanding leadership in the Grand Unified Micronational, where he served as Chair, Vice-Chair, and Acting Chair over the past nine months. His dedication and resilience in managing the responsibilities of these roles, while maintaining stability within the micronational community, were highly praised by Northudankton's leadership.
- The High Council of Northudankton officially approved the citizenship application of Kaiser Newton I of the Empire (Newton von Uberquie). Newton, a prominent figure associated with the Uber-Essian Union and the Technocratic Capital of Wurdigeland, is known for his commitment to social justice, internationalism, and ethical governance. His acceptance into Northudankton further strengthens the nation's diverse and principled citizenry.
- 10th: The Kabaar appointed Lord Newton to the High Council and was approved by the Chancellor.
- 11th:
- Hurricane Francine passed over Duikienin later in the day, causing minimal damage. Central Duikienin experienced scattered fallen limbs and a damaged plastic flag along Saint Duisienbourgh Street, but no significant structural issues were reported.
- The Grand Unified Micronational special Chair elections concluded. The Clemens-Uberquie campaign secured a close victory, despite the controversy surrounding their opponent, Pio Lowe. King Jon I expressed relief over the minimal impact of the storm, congratulated the GUM election winners on their success, and commented on how unsettlingly close the election was.
- 12th: Clean-up efforts began for Hurricane Francine in Duikienin late in the afternoon.
- 13th: The High Council of Northudankton, under the leadership of The Kabaar, King Jon I, approved a significant procedural change to its decision-making structure. Following discussions initiated on the 12th of September, King Jon I proposed the establishment of a continuous platform for council deliberations, known as the "Council Chambers." This new structure allows for discussions and emergency decisions to be made without the need for a quorum, replacing minor meetings. Decisions made within the Council Chambers will be subject to review and final confirmation during the formal Meetings, which are to be held at least every 60 days and require a quorum of at least 50% of councilors. The proposal was put to a vote and passed unanimously by 5:39 PM, further streamlining the legislative process in Northudankton.
- 15th: The Northudankton Capitol - Micro area in Central Duikienin received a central building, a miniature model building previously used as the head quarters building of the Northudankton Department of Science.
- 17th: The Kabaar, King Jon I, proposed revisions to the official Meeting agenda template required by the constitution for High Council sessions. The changes included moving the "Confirmation of Quorum" before the "Welcome and Introduction," removing the "Overview of the Agenda," and replacing the "Briefing from All Other High Councilors" with reports from the Lords. A new section, the "Northudankton Safety and Stability Index Discussion," was added, along with "Confirmation of Chamber Items" to formally confirm decisions. The "Review of Governing Documents" section was revised to structure opportunities for presenting new or revised documents. Furthermore, adherence to both the Chambers Procedure Document and the soon-to-be-created Meeting Procedures Document was mandated. Discussion on the proposal was opened for 12 hours. By 9:29 PM, with no comments raised, the proposal was moved to a vote. Voting remained open for 12 hours, and with the support of The Kabaar, Chancellor Edward, and Kaiser Newton I, the proposal was approved at 9:37 AM on the following day.
- 18th: The Kabaar, King Jon I, proposed the introduction of a codified procedure for the High Council Chambers. This procedure detailed the framework for discussions, deliberations, and the rights of the Councilors. The proposal was introduced at 10:09 AM, and Councilors were invited to review and discuss the guidelines over a 12-hour period. At the close of the discussion, with no objections raised, the Kabaar called for a vote at 1:47 AM on the following day. Voting proceeded for 12 hours, concluding at 1:51 PM. The Chancellor and the Kaiser both cast their votes in support of the proposal. The Kabaar confirmed the passage of the proposal at 2:06 PM. The codified procedure now governs the deliberations and operations within the High Council Chambers.
- 20th:
- Newton von Uberquie, a Northudankton citizen, High Councilor, and Kaiser of the Empire, has been inaugurated as the Vice-Chair of the Grand Unified Micronational alongside his running mate Chair Henry Clémens of Uber-Esse.
- The Kabaar, King Jon I, proposed the formal codification of procedures for High Council Meetings through the Meetings Procedure Document. This document outlined key protocols, including the frequency of meetings, quorum requirements, and the rights and responsibilities of councilors, such as the ability to discuss, deliberate, and vote on agenda items. It also addressed decorum and provisions for public input. After a brief discussion period, The Kabaar motioned to end discussion and proceed to deliberation, which was seconded by Grand Judge Lord Alex. A 12-hour voting period followed, with Chancellor Edward and Grand Judge Lord Alex casting their votes in support. The proposal passed unanimously the following day, establishing new procedural standards for future High Council meetings.
- The Kabaar, King Jon I, introduced a proposal to adjust the discussion time limits for the High Council Chambers to improve deliberation efficiency. The proposal suggested allowing multiple items to be discussed simultaneously and reducing the minimum discussion period, while introducing the option for councilors to reopen discussions during deliberation if they felt discussions were closed prematurely. After a period of open discussion, The Kabaar formalized the proposal, calling for indefinite discussion on items until a motion to vote is made, with new items allowed to overlap in discussion. A motion to reopen discussions during voting would also be permitted.
- 21st:
- Northudankton celebrated Hishrah Day, a significant holiday marking the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, for the first time as a member state of the Würtige Empire. This year, a Grand Royal Feast was held in Central Duikienin, hosted by The Kabaar, alongside the Regal Matron. The celebration featured steak cooked on a grill and other dishes. An article written by the King was released on the Empire's Südwürdigestädter Morgenpost about the event.
- After a voting period lasting just over six hours, the proposal introduced the previous day for indefinite discussion and related measures passed unanimously. Every councilor, including Grand Judge Lord Alex, Chancellor Edward, Kaiser Newton I, and Lord General Lynch, cast their vote in favor.
- 22nd: The Public Prosecutor, King Jon I, formally petitioned the Grand Judge for a trial following the deaths of two squirrels found within two days in North Duikienin (The People of Northudankton vs. Theodora von Whiskerworth, Case No. 24-3: In Re the Duikienin Squirrel Homicides). Both victims were discovered around the residence of Theodora von Whiskerworth, Chair of the Assembly of Commoners, with head wounds exposing the brain. The first victim was found on September 20th and the second victim the day prior on September 21st, Hishrah Day. King Jon I argued that the evidence points to a deliberate and serial nature to the killings, requesting a thorough investigation and trial. The Public Defender, Chancellor Edward, rejected the accusations, asserting that Ms. Whiskerworth is innocent and the evidence against her lacks substance.
- 23rd:
- The Kabaar, King Jon I, was awarded the Baldwin Presidential Unity Medal by the President of the Confederation of Esse, Henry Clemens, for his extraordinary contributions as an ally to the Confederation and his steadfast commitment to advancing the Confederation’s principles on the international stage.

- The Kabaar, Jon I, briefly announced his candidacy for President of the Confederation of Esse at 2:27 PM CDT with the message, "I am proud to announce that I too will be running for President of the Confederation of Esse with my cat Theo as my running mate." A minute later, he publicly withdrew from the race and endorsed the campaign of The Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Clémens, "I would like to announce that I am dropping out of this race and fully support Henry Clemens' campaign." Sir Henry acknowledged the endorsement, stating "I applaud my opponent for his very fierce campaign, which gave me a good fight. And I welcome his endorsement."
- 25th: During pre-trial proceedings in the case against Theodora von Whiskerworth, stylized as T. V. Whiskerworth, Chancellor Edward petitioned for the defense to gain immediate access to all evidence, citing concerns regarding the fairness of the trial. The Grand Judge, Lord Alex, ruled in favor of the petition, granting the defense access but postponing further proceedings until The Kabaar, King Jon I, could be present. Later in the day, after the prosecution sent the currently gathered evidence, Chancellor Edward submitted a petition to remove a statement made by The Kabaar, King Jon I, from evidence, arguing that its use would conflict with Article 4, Section 8, Subsection 1 of the Second Northudankton Constitution. Additionally, Chancellor Edward requested the Grand Judge for a formal court date of September 27, 2024, at 6 PM CST for the trial to proceed, which was accepted the following day.
- 26th: Proposal 24-13, introduced by The Kabaar, King Jon I on September 25th to establish "Duikan Doubloons" as a subdivision of the Duikan currency, passed after a vote in the High Council Chambers. The proposal introduced the Duikan Doubloon, symbolized as "ɖ", which would represent 1/100th of one Duikan, while the main Duikan symbol would remain "Ɖ". The Law Library will be accessible to the public and managed by the council in cooperation.
- The Court of Northudankton held a trial and concluded proceedings for case no. 24-3, The People of Northudankton vs. T. V. Whiskerworth, presided over by Grand Judge Lord Alex. After deliberations, a ruling of "Not Guilty" was delivered by the judge and concluded that there was not sufficient evidence to convict, and the case docket was officially closed at 6:46 PM.
- A motion of no confidence, Proposal 24-15, was introduced by Chancellor Edward against Grand Judge Lord Alex, citing a pattern of negligence, lack of professionalism, and failure in judicial duties. The Kabaar, King Jon I, seconded the motion. This action was explicitly carried out by Chancellor Edward in his capacity as Chancellor, and by The Kabaar in his role as Monarch, not in their respective roles as Public Defender and Public Prosecutor. Following the completion of a prior vote, Chancellor Edward and The Kabaar cast the first votes in favor of the motion, commencing the High Council’s decision on the Grand Judge's future. The vote passed the following day at 7:20 a.m. and was confirmed at 7:35 a.m., creating a vacancy in the Office of the Grand Judge.

- The Kabaar introduced a motion in the Grand Unified Micronational quorum session "to condemn the State of Israel for their policy of apartheid and their continuing genocide of the Palestinian people as well as their ongoing and unlawful military actions in Beirut, Lebanon." In response, Levinia withdrew from the organization.
- 30th: The Kabaar, King Jon I, formally accused Mr. James Bornstein, a foreign national, of violating the Northudankton Constitution during the special election for Grand Judge by submitting four fraudulent ballots. Evidence traced the fraudulent votes to an email account linked to Mr. Bornstein. Two specific constitutional violations were cited: Article II, Section 2, which limits voting rights to full citizens, and Article VII, Section 2.3, which prohibits electoral fraud. Following an admission of guilt from Mr. Bornstein, King Jon I, acting as public prosecutor, announced his intention to bring the case to court once the Grand Judge is elected. The case, designated No. 24-4, was submitted to the Supreme Court of Northudankton, where potential penalties may include a permanent ban from Northudankton's online spaces and fines. A news article was written and published about the case by the Northudankton Broadcast Network.

The event had confirmed participation from two individuals, James himself and Chancellor Edward, his defense lawyer. Participants intended to leave their classes early, with Chancellor Edward planning to walk out of his machine design class five minutes before it ended. The protest was scheduled to occur outdoors despite the cooler autumn weather, with the aim of spreading awareness about James's legal situation. Both Mr. Bornstein and his attorney claimed there were additional participants, with James asserting that over 150 people exited his campus' Arts and Science with him in support, and Chancellor Edward later stating that two of his friends joined him in leaving their building. However, neither claim could be authenticated, as no written records, photos, clear statements, or verified documentation from the supposed participants were provided. A minor debate erupted in the Northudankton Discord's national-floor channel about the subject. However, the Kabaar, King Jon I, acting as the Historian, clarified that without concrete proof showing that these individuals intentionally participated in the 'Free James' protest, rather than coincidentally leaving the building after classes ended, the official record would only reflect the two confirmed participants.
- Grand Judge Lord Henry issued a judicial review clarifying that the prosecution does not have the right to access evidence gathered by the defense after the defense's access to the prosecution's evidence, as stipulated by the Constitution of Northudankton. The review was based on Article IV, Section 9, Subsection 1, which grants the defense access to prosecution evidence, but does not provide reciprocal rights to the prosecution. The court determined that while the prosecution must disclose all its evidence per Article IV, Section 8, Subsection 3, it has no grounds to petition for advance access to the defense's counter-evidence. If necessary, the prosecution may request a postponement of proceedings should new defense evidence require additional response time. The ruling was acknowledged by The Kabaar, King Jon I, and Chancellor Edward.
- 9th: Chancellor Edward postponed his participation in the trial of The People of Northudankton v. Mr. James Bornstein due to academic commitments. Chancellor Edward, serving as the defense attorney, had been scheduled to represent his client, Mr. Bornstein, at the trial for four counts of election fraud related to the submission of multiple fraudulent ballots. The trial, initially set for 6:00 PM Duikienin time, was postponed as Edward cited the need to complete homework for a compressible fluids course. No new trial date was immediately announced.
- 10th:
- Grand Judge Lord Henry confirmed the trial of The People of Northudankton v. Mr. James Bornstein would proceed at 7:00 PM. The defense, having completed his academic obligations, agreed to the rescheduled time, as did the prosecution.
- The Court of Northudankton, presided over by Grand Judge Lord Henry, convened at 7:03 PM for The People of Northudankton vs. Mr. James Bornstein, Case No. 24-4. The prosecution, represented by Jonathan T. Freeman, accused Mr. Bornstein of submitting four fraudulent ballots in the special election for Grand Judge, which violated Article VII, Section 2, Subsection 3 of the Northudankton Constitution, prohibiting deceitful behavior. The evidence included an admission from Mr. Bornstein, who stated he had submitted the ballots “because it was kinda funny” and later attempted to delete his confession. The defense, led by Dan Edward Ellis, contended that the ballots, which contained vulgar and improper entries, did not amount to fraud or deceit since they were obviously not serious and could not deceive a reasonable person. They further argued that Article II, Section 2, which restricts voting to citizens, placed the burden on the state to enforce this rule, not on private individuals. After a thirty-five minute recess to review both arguments, Grand Judge Lord Henry ruled at 9:41 PM that Mr. Bornstein had indeed violated the law by submitting false ballots and attempting to disrupt the election. He clarified that the Constitution imposed an obligation on individuals, including non-citizens, to comply with Northudankton’s election laws. Mr. Bornstein was found guilty of four counts of fraud, and sentencing procedures were set to follow. The court then adjourned after being in session for a total of two hours and two minutes.
- 11th:
- The Northudankton Reporter, a formal legal publication dedicated to documenting court cases, judicial decisions, and courtroom logs, released its first edition. This new official record will serve as a continuously updated archive for the Grand Court of Northudankton, providing comprehensive details of legal proceedings and rulings. As new cases are decided, the publication will be updated to reflect the evolving legal landscape of the nation, ensuring transparency and the preservation of Northudankton's judicial history.
- A large white pitbull with a few brown spots illegally entered Duikienin. The dog was first captured on video in the Out The Window live stream at 18:18:18, entering Central Duikienin via Saint Duisienbourgh Street from the north entrance. It briefly sniffed the area before heading southbound and disappearing from view at 18:18:26, entering Saint Constance Court. During this time, the sound of ruffling foliage was heard, suggesting the dog’s presence nearby off camera. It remained off camera until 18:19:13, when it reappeared heading north. At that moment, the Monarch spotted the dog on the camera, became aware of the intrusion, and observed it leaving northbound at 18:19:16. The Monarch then patrolled the area, checking for the dog and the local cats, but found no signs of either. The cats later were found okay after coming out of the bushes.
- The Kabaar, King Jon I, formally requested clarification on the classification of charges after a guilty verdict was rendered on four counts during a criminal trial. The inquiry was directed to the Grand Judge Lord Henry to determine whether the charges would be classified as infractions, misdemeanors, felonies, or high crimes according to the Northudankton Criminal Court Procedure. On the same day, Grand Judge Lord Henry confirmed that the charges would be classified as felonies, classifying Bornstein as a convicted felon, and called upon all involved parties to provide their availability to plan for the sentencing phase of the trial.
- 12th:
- The fifth regular meeting of the High Council for 2024 (HC-2024-5) was called to order by The Kabaar, King Jon I, at 12:30 PM. The council achieved quorum with 50% attendance, allowing the session to proceed. The meeting began with an update from The Kabaar on Northudankton’s security and stability, reporting a 9/10 on the Northudankton Safety and Stability Index (NSSI), with no significant threats apart from a minor concern about a roaming pitbull in Greater Duikienin. It was decided that the NSSI was to stay at 9. Grand Judge Lord Henry praised the court system for its recent handling of cases, acknowledging the High Council for its due diligence. A total of twenty-two proposals, that already passed in the Chambers and were enacted into law, were reviewed for final confirmation by the High Council. were reviewed and underwent confirmation. Most proposals were accepted unanimously, including joining the Würtige Empire, awarding the Veteran of Service (VOS) award to President Anthony Barauskis, establishing a Law Library, adopting courtroom procedures, and accepting revisions to the constitution. Proposal 24-2, concerning a direct cabinet meeting with Prime Minister Yasuhito of Wakoku, was rejected following abstentions and one opposing vote. Similarly, Proposal 24-13, introducing Duikan Doubloons as a currency subdivision, passed despite some opposition. Proposals 24-11, 24-15, and 24-16 were skipped, and Proposals 24-17 and 24-21 were canceled. The meeting concluded with the acceptance of the Fifth Revision of the Constitution, allowing The Kabaar to finalize adjustments before it becomes law. Additionally, the Supreme Court of Northudankton was officially renamed to the Grand Court of Northudankton to better align with its presiding officer's title of Grand Judge of Northudankton. The meeting adjourned at 2:30 PM, with the next meeting, HC-2024-6, scheduled for November 30th, 2024.
- At 6:55 PM, the Kabaar, King Jon I, with the approval of the High Council, decreed the fifth revision of the Constitution of Northudankton, now titled The Northudankton Code. Key changes from the previous version included a reformatted text, new provisions on sovereignty, and clearer definitions of digital punishment powers. The revision also introduced protections against the exploitation of legal loopholes and reinforced the illegality of ignorance of the law as a defense. Specific prohibitions on electoral fraud, false allegations, and noncitizen participation in civil duties were added. Additionally, capitalist enterprises were fully banned, new labor protections were enacted, and stronger restrictions on anti-revolutionary propaganda were imposed. These changes, among others, aimed to solidify governance and align with the micronation’s socio-political values.

The incident exemplified an assault on the sovereignty of Northudankton, interpreted as a forced extraction of wealth likened to a ransom. The demand placed on the monarchy, backed by the threat of detainment, was seen as an encroachment on the nation’s independence, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by Northudankton in defending its self-governance from external jurisdictions. This serves as a clear example of why Northudankton must remain under the radar of macronational authorities, who will not hesitate to exert their monopoly of violence to enforce their control over micronations.

- 8th:
- The Google Business Profile for Duikienin, Northudankton, was suspended on dubious grounds, citing unspecified policy violations. The decision, lacking transparency and clear justification, was immediately contested by the Kabaar. In the appeal, the Kabaar denounced the suspension as unfounded, highlighting that Duikienin is a legitimate, registered cultural attraction offering guided, in-person tours. The appeal also pointed out the inconsistency in Google’s actions, noting that other recognized micronations, such as Austenasia and Molossia, continue to operate with active profiles. The filing characterized the decision as arbitrary and called for an expedited reinstatement.
- The Kabaar formally proposed the creation of the Northudankton Intelligence Agency (NIA) as part of Proposal 24-25. The NIA, if established, would serve as the third branch of the Northudankton Ministry of Defense, complementing the existing Northudankton Armed Forces and the Northudankton Community Guard. The agency’s mandate would include gathering and analyzing intelligence, conducting counter-intelligence operations, and collaborating with domestic and intermicronational partners. The Kabaar highlighted the need for the NIA to enhance national security by identifying potential threats, safeguarding sensitive information, and supporting law enforcement efforts. The proposal was put forth for a vote, pending a second to the motion.
- 9th:
- Proposal 24-25 was seconded by Chancellor Edward and immediately put to a vote.
- The Kabaar introduced Proposal 24-26 in the Council Chambers, seeking to amend the voting procedures. The proposal aimed to eliminate the requirement for a second on motions to vote, allowing the voting process to commence immediately upon any Councilor's motion. The amendment also permitted continued discussion during the voting period, while granting any Councilor the authority to pause the voting process if additional deliberation was deemed necessary. Such a pause would require acknowledgment from the Monarch or the presiding Chairperson. The proposal was immediately put forth for a vote, pending a second.
- The High Council approved the establishment of the Northudankton Intelligence Agency (NIA) following a vote. The proposal was met with majority support, with five members voting in favor and one member abstaining. The approval marks the founding of the NIA, aimed at overseeing intelligence and security operations within Northudankton.

This marks an important step in Northudankton's engagement in wider micronational diplomacy and international relations. In a statement released at 2:06 PM CST in the Northudankton Discord's royal announcement channel, Jon I emphasized a vision of progress, vowing to oppose conservatism and reactionary ideologies within the organization. The Kabaar specifically mentioned, "I’m running to bring Northudankton’s spirit of progress and justice to the wider world." Further campaign details were promised in the future. At 2:55 PM CST Tyler Mullins of New Athens announced his campaign for Chair.
- 12th: The High Council passed Proposal 24-26, initiated by The Kabaar (King Jon I), which removed the requirement for a second on motions to vote in the Council Chambers. Under the new procedure, voting can commence immediately upon a motion to vote by any Councilor, while discussions may continue until the voting period concludes.
