The Arms of the Aenderese Republic (French: Armoiries de la République Aenderese; Vietnamese: Vũ khí của Cộng hòa Aenderese; Russian: Герб Республики Эндересе; Spanish: Armas de la República Aenderesa) are the official coat of arms for the Aenderese Republic since 28 April 2019.

The current coat of arms contains a shield comprising with the Aenderese flag and the Vietnamese, Canadian, and American flags are held with lion supporters in rampart position who are also supporting the Nordic Blade, a symbol for Aenderia. Below reads "L'unité protégée sous la démocratie", French for "Unity protected under democracy", which is Aenderia's current motto.

History

The first Arms of Aenderia contained a shield with an azure chevron and an eagle, with banners stating "Sdelat lyvbov ne voynoy" and "Aenderia".[1] There is not much known about this arm since it was in Aenderia's first era.

Another coat of arms was produced in September 2018 to replace the first one, containing the same shield as with the first one, with eagle supporters and other features.[2] This wasn't used much as most Aenderese government documentation contained the Government of Aenderia wordmark instead.

During late 2018, due to the lack of a proper and widely used coat of arms, then-incumbent president Jayden Lycon produced his own "prototype" one, containing a shield with the Aenderese flag and 2 separate islands, symbolizing the break off of Nerdystan and Auvenum. It also contained the flag of the United States, Canada, and Vietnam, as to symbolize the then-current macronations containing Aenderia.

On April 2019, the House Legislation of Aenderia passed the National Heritage Act, 2019 to enrich the coat of Arms, making the current coat of arms Aenderia has today.[3]

Armorial evolution

Blazon

There was not an official blazon provided in the National Heritage Act, 2019, nor the Government has commented on a description on the coat of arms.

Greater Version

The unofficial heraldic blazon is:

The dexter of the Aenderese Flag in a Sable escutcheon. The crest contains a silhouette of a border with the flags of the United States of America on the dexter, Canada on the centre, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the sinister, where Canada has the order of precedence and shall be flown higher, signifying that the capital was on Canadian land. The bottom portion of the arms is divided by 3 to include 2 separate islands, representing the separation of Auvenum and Nerdsytan from the union. The arms are surrounded by the Nordic Knife and supported by two lions, facing each other. There shall be a proclamation stating "Unité protégée sous démocratie.", in respect to the division of Aenderia and its continued success with democracy.

Use

The second page of the Aenderian passport uses the lesser coat of arms.

The arms of Aenderia signify national sovereignty and ownership. They appear in Aenderian Legislation and documents made or authorized by the Government. They also appear on Aenderian passports, to symbolize that the bearer of the passport is travelling under the aid of the Government of Aenderia.

The lesser coat of arms is usually used in legislation, however it has been slowly replaced with the greater arms.

Legal

It is illegal to reproduce or forge the coat of arms of Aenderia without prior authorization from the Government,[4] as it is property of the Government.

Article 6 of the Criminal Code states

6.2 Offences deemed “Counterfeit” can include: - The illegal reproduction of government documents within Aenderia or the Cupertino Alliance (e.g. money)

The coat of arms is considered Government documentation.

Article 7 of the Criminal Code states

7.2 Offences deemed “Forging” can include: - Writing on behalf of someone else, however the plaintiff did not authorize you to do said action.

As the coat of arms signifies the ownership and sovereignty of the Government as a whole, it would be considered forging.
