Arlandica-Vilasia relations (Cebuano: Ang Relasyon tali sa Arlandika ug Vilasia) are the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Arlandica and Empire of Vilasia. On 18 October 2020, the two countries announced their relations, making Vilasia as Arlandica's first ally. Arlandica and Vilasia are neighbors and share a land border in Barangay Cabantian, Davao City, near the capital of Arlandica.
The two nations have entered into several agreements, including the Baylosa Agreement, the Mutual Defense and Cooperation Treaty, and the Treaty of Santo Niño. Both are members of the Santo Niño Cooperation Union (SNCU).
History
On 18 October 2020, the leaders of Arlandica and Vilasia, Jerold I and Vince, formally announced their relations. Vilasia holds the distinction of being Arlandica's first ally. Cooperation and friendship are crucial factors between these micronations due to their neighboring status. However, on 30 May 2021, due to the significant resources found in an Arlandican province, Baylosa, Vilasia's government forces initiated a takeover of the area. Arlandica prepared for a counterattack, but an agreement was reached between the two micronations, thus stopping the conflict. Baylosa transitioned from Arlandica to Vilasia, but in return, Vilasia would provide Arlandica with economic and security assistance.
On 5 November 2021, King Jerold I embarked on a landmark visit to the heart of Vilasia, marking his first official state visit to another micronation. During this visit, he engaged in discussions with Emperor Vince regarding future agreements encompassing security, economics, and diplomatic cooperation.
On 11 March 2022, Arlandica and Vilasia signed the Mutual Defense and Cooperation Treaty, solidifying an alliance aimed at enhancing security cooperation. In June 2022, Coulman Island, a territory of Arlandica, was ceded to Vilasia. On 13 July 2022, Arlandica provided support to Vilasia during its anti-Communist operations in the areas that now constitute Volvogrania. In July 2023, various territories, including Beaufort and Franklin Islands, previously part of Arlandica's territorial claims in Antarctica, and Cabandac, were also ceded to Vilasia. This came after Arlandica passed an act of Parliament outlining the relinquishment of these territories.
Border
The Arlandican-Vilasian border designates the state boundary between Arlandica and Vilasia. It is the sole area where Arlandica shares a border with another micronation. With a total length of 135 meters, this border follows the administrative demarcations of two territories: La Frondosa (part of Nueva Bago) and Cabandac (a Vilasian dependency). Its establishment occurred on 28 July 2023, following the 5th constitutional amendment within Arlandica's constitution.
The Arlandican-Vilasian border is unfortified and lacks a fence. This area comprises a rainforest and mountainous terrain, making it inaccessible due to the absence of roads.
