Satamana is the official currency of the Republic of Amazonia. The currency uses the silver standard, with one Satamana equal to 100 grains of silver, which would be approximately $5 in March 2022.
Etymology
Śatamāna (शतमान, “centimetre”) is a Sanskrit name for a unit of measurement, comprising ten Dharaṇas. The word is used throughout Dharmaśāstra literature such as the Manusmṛti.
