Air marshal is a three-star air officer rank in the Royal Vishwamitran Air Force. It is the second-highest active rank in the Royal Vishwamitran Air Force. Air marshal ranks above the two-star rank of air vice marshal and below the four-star rank of air chief marshal.

The Commander of the Royal Vishwamitran Air Force, who is the professional head of the air force holds the rank of the air marshal.

The rank of the air marshal is equivalent to that of the lieutenant General in the army and the vice admiral in the navy.
