National-Distributism is a form of right-wing, nationalism characterized by National Catholicism, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong harmonization of society and of the economy, which is the ideology of the People's republic of West Latgale. National-Distributism began in West Latgale around July 2021. Opposed to anarchism, democracy, liberalism, and Marxism, National-Distributism is placed on the right-wing within the traditional left-right spectrum.
National-Distributists see the World war's as a revolution, which destroyed most of the world, and destroyed both nations and entire ideologies. National-Distributists saw it as something that brought in new powers, which opposed nationalism and religion, changing demographics, morals, and much more in the entire world.
National-Distributists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete and regard the mobilization of society under a powerful and nationalistic state as necessary to prepare a nation for armed conflict and to respond effectively to economic difficulties. National-Distributists rejects assertions that violence is automatically negative in nature and views imperialism, political violence and war as means that can achieve national rejuvenation. National-Distributists advocate a mixed economy, with the principal goal of achieving autarky (national economic self-sufficiency) through protectionist and economic interventionist policies, meanwhile asserting that the world's productive assets should be widely owned rather than concentrated. According to National-Distributists, the right to property is a fundamental right and the means of production should be spread as widely as possible rather than being centralized under the control of the state (state capitalism), a few individuals (plutocracy), or corporations (corporatocracy). Therefore, distributism advocates a society marked by widespread property ownership. Cooperative economist Race Mathews argues that such a system is key to bringing about just social order.
National-Distributism also believes in the idea of National Catholicism and a state religion, as well as highly views Christianity and being religious, mainly making the church one of the most important things in the entire ideology.
