The Ministry for Culture is an Überstadti governmental department responsible for cultural policy. It was created in January 2012 as part of the original cabinet, and is today one of the three government ministries constitutionally required to be filled. It is led by the Minister for Culture, presently Prince Aaron, who also serves as Prime Minister.
Responsibilities
The Ministry for the Economy has few roles appointed by statute, but routinely advises the Prime Minister, King, and Parliament on matters of Überstadti culture and identity and enacts programs associated with these matters. Specific roles include:
- Promoting the arts by organizing exhibitions
- Organizing public celebrations of national holidays
- Maintaining an archive of historical documents and objects
