Benjamin Levinson formed the Levinson ministry on 20 June 2024, after being invited by King John to form a government. The ministry, a Conservative majority government is the fifteenth ministry after the appointing of Lord John Timpson as the 1st Prime Minister.

Changes

On 3 August 2024, Marquess Annattej of Pragjyotishpura was appointed as Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs succeeding the Deputy Prime Minister, George Davis. He, along with former deputy prime minister Earl Lacey and Scott, formed the New Horizon Party and extended its support to the government, through a coalition, after which, the Earl Lacey and Scott was appointed as Secretary of State for Justice succeeding the former Prime Minister, Lady Ella Parker. Lady Ella Parker then succeeded Sir James Gardner in his role of Secretary of State for the Economy, who resigned from Cabinet and recived a viscounty.

Ananttej–Lacey-Scott affair

Marquess Ananttej of Pragjyotishpura was threatened with removal by the Prime Minister from the cabinet on 20 September 2024 over personal differences with the prime minister. The removal was thwarted by the King, although the Lord Annattej of Pragjyotishpura resigned anyway, following which Lord Lacey and Scott also resigned from the cabinet. The Conservative Party also disbanded the coalition with the New Horizon Party at this point.
