Abrams Wiucki-Dunswed, 1st Duke of Wells formed the Wells caretaker ministry on 23 November 2023, after being invited by King John to form a government. The ministry, a Conservative majority government is the thirteenth ministry after the appointment of Lord John Timpson as the 1st Prime Minister. The Duke of Wells, formerly the Deputy Prime Minister, was asked to form a government until a new conservative leader could be found. The caretaker cabinet, which by convention, performs minimal function. The ministry was dissolved on 28 November 2023, after the Conservative Party reappointed Sir Oliver Doig.
