First national census of Landopia

The first national census of Landopia (Italian: Primo censimento nazionale di Landopia, Fellinese: Prìmm-o çensìmento naçionâ d'Landeuppia, Latin: Primum census nationalis Landopiae), colloquially as the first census of Landopia, was the first and currently the only official census in Landopia.

It started collecting data on the 6 October 2024, after five people from Fellino were successfully accepted as Landopian citizens. It was managed by the Institute of Statistics of Landopia (Italian: Istituto Nazionale di Statistica Landopiano, acronym INSL) in its high quarters, situated in Fellino. It collects data on administrations and citizens, ensuring the confidentiality of personal data by presenting only statistical percentages.

The census presents gathered information through tabular formats and visual representations, including pie charts and map charts, thereby enhancing accessibility for a broader audience and maintaining high standards in the INSL national censuses. All visualizations are created using SVG design.

History

The creation of the Istituto Nazionale di Statistica Landopiano underscored the urgent need for a national census. Prior to 2024, the only available data stemmed from outdated estimates, reflecting a period when Landopia's population was significantly smaller.

Census data collection commenced on 6 October 2024, following the successful naturalization of five individuals from Fellino as citizens of Landopia. This initiative was primarily spearheaded by Brando Pernice, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of the INSL, in collaboration with His Majesty King Carlo I.
