The Burklandi National Football Team, also known as the Burklandi National Soccer Team, is an association football team in the Marxist People's Republic of Burkland run by the Burklandi Association of Sports (Football division). Since it is new, no games have been played by the team.

Naming

In North America, Gridiron football is simply called football and association football called soccer. However, despite being based in North America, the association football team is simply called the football team. Matthew sees Gridiron as too competitive, while Matthew sees Association as playful so the team is often called the Burklandi National Football Team as opposed to the Burklandi National Soccer Team.
