The 2024 Cerkö presidential primaries were held on 15 February 2024 and Axel Himberg won with 57.1% while Marius Åkerblom won 0% and Wilmer Himberg won 1.7% with none of these candidates winning 41.2% of the vote. This was the first primary held in the Åland State as a part of the 2024 Åland State presidential primaries for the election that will take place on 28 February. Axel Himberg winning was predicted as he was the most popular candidate but surprisingly none of these candidates got 41.2% of the vote or 3 votes.
