The Royal Order of New Bavaria is an order of chivalry founded by August IV on 16 November 2021 and it is one of the third highest orders of the Empire of New Prussia and the highest order of the Kingdom of New Bavaria.

Appointments are made at the discretion of the King of New Bavaria with approval of the Emperor. This Order can be awarded anytime except for holidays. The King may appoint as many supernumerary Knights -Members of the Imperial Family and Foreign Heads of State/Government- as they wish.

History

The Order was created on 16 November 2021.

Composition

The Order consists of the Sovereign, Chancellor of the Order, Secretary, Gentleman/Lady Usher of the Blue Rod, 70 total Knights and members including supernumerary members.

Members and Knights

The Order is limited to 10 Knight/Dame Grand Crosses, 15 Knight/Dame Companions, 20 Companions and 25 Members.

Officers

Officers of the order are not of the seventy members because they are temporal.

Chancellor of the Order: Has the power to accept or decline the letter of recommendation and has the power to degrade members with approval of the Sovereign.

Gentleman/Lady Usher of the Blue Rod: The representative of the order, maintains discipline within the order and grants access to the investiture ceremony.

Secretary: keeps records of previous and current knights/dames of the order and does background checks on recipients.
