The Imperial Court of New Prussia is the highest court of the Empire of New Prussia. It mostly receives appeals from the state courts. The purpose of the Imperial Court is to hear and settle all civil cases brought to the it from the state courts or the New Prussian Imperial Government.

Composition

The Imperial Court consists of 3 Justices, the Chief Justice and their Senior and Junior deputies, that are appointed by the Emperor, and may also be nominated by the Chancellor with advice from the Attorney Minister.

Justices

The Chief Justice is the most senior Justice in the Court, the Chief Justice may be selected from one of the two deputies or may be a different person.

The Senior Deputy Chief Justice is the second most senior Justice on the Court, usually the Junior Deputy is promoted to the Senior Deputy but someone else may be selected as Senior Deputy.

The Junior Deputy Chief Justice is the lowest ranking Justice on the Court.

The Emperor may also be a member of the Imperial Court, the Emperor is given the title of High Chief Justice.

All Justices are referred to as the "High Honorable Justice" and as "Your Honor" while in session.
