The Grand Principality of New Hanover (Großfürstentum von Neu Hannover), sometimes called New Hanover, is a constituent country of the Empire of New Prussia.

History

The Grand Principality of New Hanover was founded on June 3, 2018 by his His Imperial Majesty August IV. Ever since it was founded, it never had a Grand Prince until February 15, 2019 when August IV asked his father, Emperor-Father Eugene, to be the first Grand Prince of New Hanover and he accepted. The title of Grand Prince of New Hanover can only be given by the Emperor to a member of the Imperial family. The City of Anamosa was withdrawn back to the U.S. due to Imperial Decree II. Thanks to Joint Decree V, New Hanover now has a state coat of arms, state motto, and lyrics for its state anthem.

State Anthem

New Hanover didn't have any lyrics for its anthem until the signing of Joint Decree V which gave New Hanover its state coat of arms, state motto, and lyrics for its anthem. The music is Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau. The lyrics were written in English and German by His Imperial and Royal Majesty, August IV with inspiration from the anthem of Wales.

Lieutenancies

Lieutenancies are an administrative division of the Kingdom of New Saxony. Each Lieutenancy is headed by a Lord-Lieutenant with assistance from the Deputy Lord-Lieutenants, one of which is the Vice Lord-Lieutenant. A Lord-Lieutenant is either appointed by the King of New Saxony and the Emperor of New Prussia, or elected by the people of the Lieutenancy.
