The Rhode Island Consortium was a micronational organization exclusively for micronations within the US state of Rhode Island. It was formed on 17 February 2022 by the State of Faltree, in hopes of the organization being a successful version of the now defunct Rhode Island League. A majority of nations were the Rhode Island Sector are apart of the Consortium. It was dissolved on 24 September 2022.
History
The Rhode Island Consortium was created on 17 February 2022, meant to serve as a continuation of the defunct Rhode Island League. The State of Faltree, the Aleunnic Workers' Republic, and the Kingdom of Nortenland were the founding members of the Consortium. April saw the admittance of a new member, the Federal Republic of Ocean States. Both the Bepistani Reich and the Ausverian Volksrepublik were admitted as observers in April. The 9th of August saw major actions for the Consortium with the creation of the Mandate of Zeprana and the admittance of Bepistan as a full member state. Policies of stabilizing and consolidating the sector through the means of expansion were adopted, justifying the creation of Mandates and other entities to govern certain regions. It was dissolved by Powell on 24 September 2022 after his dissatisfaction with the organization.
Member states
Member states within the Consortium fall under either full membership or observership. Full membership is reserved for micronations of which all or an extremely important part of their territory is located entirely within Rhode Island. Observership is reserved for micronations whom only hold small relatively insignificant territories within Rhode Island.
