The President of Koya, officially known as the President of the People's Republic of Koya and also commonly called President of the Republic is the elected head of state and head of government in Koya's presidential system. The president leads the National Executive of the Koyan government and is the commander-in-chief of the Koyan Defence Forces. Presidential terms were set at four years in with the adoption of the 2016 constitution, and re-election has been unlimited since then
The office of President has existed since 2014, when Koya declared independence from Japan; the first president was Luke Walker. When the Republic of Koya became inactive, the office of the president was restored under Shady Morsi
