People's Republic of Koya

The National Unity Party, officially the National Unity Party of Koya, is the current ruling political party in Koya. The NUP is a nationalist conservative party, which has been supported by 58% of the Koyan People but opposed by the Liberal Party Proletariat Union and the People's Social Democratic Alliance. The NUP had several influences left upon its ideology by revolutionary thinking. The NUP used the words feudal and counter revolutionary as synonyms for evil, and backwardness, and proudly proclaimed themselves to be revolutionaries.

Its current ideology is Mínzúism and Koyan conservatism. That contrasts with the Liberals' modern liberalism. The National Unity Party of Koya platform involves support for free market capitalism, free enterprise, business, a strong national defense, deregulation, restrictions on labor unions, social-conservative policies (particularly opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage), and traditional values, usually with a Japanese-Korean-Chinese ethical foundation. Once dominant by the Upper Class, the party's core support now comes from the Middle Class, as well by the military and people across the country. The NUP have the largest majority in the Legislative Diet. The party also holds a majority of governorships and local city councils.
