The Occitanian Commonwealth elections, April 2020 will be the first election of the Head of the Occitanian Commonwealth following the first reform of the charter of this organisation who is now elected by universal suffrage.

Electoral system

By the Decision 2020/1bis,[1] it was determined that the election would take place in a single round, the candidate with the most votes will therefore be elected.

Date of the election

Members must organize the election between February 24 and 29, at their convenience. After requests for postponement by the Parliament of Aswington and Occitania, the election is postponed to April.
