The Nova-Occitania local elections, July 2019 were the first local elections since the re-fondation of Occitania. As the only party registered in these elections, CiV wins every territorial presidency.
The election was called by the Constitutional Commission by a decree of 1 July 2019. It takes place at the same time as the presidential election, legislative elections and the constitutional referendum. Therefore, if the constitutional referendum is not approved, this election will have a poll declared as invalid, insofar as its result is conditional on the application of the new constitution.
Electoral system
The poll is organized in a single round, the candidate with the largest number of votes is elected head of its territory.
