The Quixotican Minister of Foreign Relations was the nation's chief ambassador and head of diplomacy. The office was created by a Royal Decree on June 1, 2017, and later reaffirmed through a constitutional amendment. The office remained vacant until King Miles appointed himself to the position on April 5, 2018. The cabinet position was last held by Prime Minister Esther Eaton.

Role of the Minister of Foreign Relations

The Minister of Foreign Relations was responsible for the representation of Quixotica to other powers on the behalf of the reigning Monarch. The Minister of Foreign Relations was the most senior member of the Prime Minister's Cabinet and second in the line of succession to the Premiership. As Minister they were tasked with the maintenance of the Quixotican Ministry of Foreign Relations.

Eligibility

Any Quixotican citizen above the age of 15 who has never been previously removed from office could have been appointed by the reigning Monarch to serve as Minister of Foreign Relations, however, some experience in the realm of diplomacy was preferred over none.
