The Provincial Bird of the Lights Lordship was initially described by the Council as a "Yellow bellied finch". It was later determined by the reigning Monarch that such a bird does not exist, so the native bird most similar to Lord Light's description, an Orange-Crowned Warbler, was designated as the official symbol instead. This decision by the Monarch was upheld by Lord Light on September 4, 2017. In honor of the misnomer, King Miles created the Order of the Yellow-Bellied Finch on September 9, 2017 and subsequently awarded Prime Minister Light that honor on October 14, 2017.
