Citizen-Premier Sophia Albina is the founder of the Republic of Nordale and its first and incumbent Premier. Albina was also the second Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of New Virginia. She has been involved in the MicroWiki community from September 2015 when she crowned herself Queen of Roseland, and since then has held citizenships in several nations throughout the community.
Early life
Albina was born on 27 October 2000 in the American state of California. She lived most of her early years in the region and attended high school in the Bay Area until leaving to enter the workforce.
Entrance into micronationalism and the Republic of Roseland
Albina's first involvement in micronationalism started on 20 September 2015, with the secession of the Kingdom of Roseland from the United States of America. During her term as Premier, Albina oversaw the drafting of the Roselandic Constitution as well as the first official meeting of a legislature in the nation's history. Premier Albina would later declare a state of emergency and the suspension of the Constitution Act while grappling with the loss of Roseland's capital. The Republic of Roseland lasted throughout much of her youth, until in 2016 when Albina decided to take a hiatus from micronationalism altogether, leaving the community as a whole and disappearing for a time.
In her brief stint as a citizen of Mercia, Albina also formed the Green-Socialist Party of Mercia along with Comrade General Secretary Baron Newton von Uberquie and was Chairman of the party until her departure from the nation.
Return to micronationalism
Sophia Albina returned from a long hiatus from micronationalism on 17 June 2019, when she reached out to His Imperial Majesty Jonathan I in regards to annexing land for Austenasia. Ten days later, Campo Del Sol seceded from the US and became a territory of Austenasia, administered by Albina as Governor.
The Republic of Nordale
While claiming land for Austenasia and slowly re-entering the micronational community in general, Albina also once again embarked on the journey of founding an independent nation. The Republic of Nordale was conceived of sometime in June 2019, but the exact date was lost due to later strife within the nation that would result in a long period of inactivity before the nation's Constitution was suspended on 27 April 2020. During this period, Albina worked on and off on reinvigorating the nation.
On 16 June 2020, Albina called for a convening of the Directorate again for the first time in several months and the Reinstatement of the Constitution Act of 2020 was unanimously passed. Once this was passed, despite losing many citizens and much of the past archived documents from the early days of the Republic, Nordale began to see regular activity once more and the government was slowly rebuilt and began to pass legislation. Albina made several Declarations as Premier, signaling an end to the long slumber of Nordale's activity.
In Austenasia
Upon Albina's claiming of Campo Del Sol, the territory had been placed in a ceremonial administrative division named Nova Albion, the title Countess of which was granted to Albina. Just over a year later, on 29 July 2020, Albina relinquished her position as Governor - which passed to her father, James Braidwood - but retained her status as a non-residential subject of Austenasia. Braidwood resided at the Austenasia-Nordale border near both Campo Del Sol and Citrus Grove, the Republic of Nordale's de jure capital.
In late June 2021, the Austenasian government was made aware that Albina was using her position in the legislature of New Virginia to make inflammatory statements regarding the Empire, including false accusations against Austenasia as a whole and Emperor Jonathan I specifically. She also proposed legislation by which New Virginia would declare the Empire an "enemy" and "threat", and unilaterally claim not only Campo Del Sol, but also Fraternitas, another Austenasian Territory. Senior New Virginian politicians downplayed Albina's behaviour as that of a radical, unrepresentative of the New Virginian government, but her rhetoric had clearly contributed towards a souring of relations between the two countries. However, Albina then spammed a Discord server hosted by the Austenasian government with images comparing herself to the Carolinians.
This resulted in a bill being introduced in Parliament to strip Albina of her nationality and titles and to dissolve Campo Del Sol, preventing it from being used as "leverage" against the Empire and further damaging relations with New Virginia. However, objections were raised given that action was being taken despite Albina not having been tried for her actions, especially given the bill's preamble described her as a "traitor". Due to encouraging another country to seize Austenasian land and actively working against Austenasia's international standing and security, treason charges were formally brought against Albina on 26 June 2021.
The trial which resulted - The Imperial Majesty vs. Lady Sophia Albina - saw Albina found guilty of treason after she made no attempt to make a sound legal argument in her own defence, responding instead with various unrelated or nonsensical accusations and insults against Austenasia, the jurors, and MicroWiki administrators. On 27 June, the Consuls passed sentence, with Albina being indefinitely exiled from the Empire. With Albina having been given a chance to defend her actions, the bill previously proposed in Parliament was passed, dissolving Campo Del Sol and stripping her of her Austenasian nationality and titles.

Personal life
The Citizen-Premier Albina graduated from high school with a GED and was formally educated as an Emergency Medical Technician, the occupation which she holds today. Albina resides in the Province of Citrus Grove of Nordale along with her father. She enjoys miniature painting, history, and tabletop wargaming. Albina is currently pursuing conversion to Christianity within the Episcopalian tradition.
