The Realm of Levedia (Russian: Короле́вство Леве́дия; Llaydish: Livyen Righa) is a micronation in Kharkov/Kharkiv, Ukraine, created and headed by Lotha I.

Levedia is a constitutional monarchy claiming succession from the West European monarchies and the Hungarian settlement of Levedia in the East of Ukraine and Don River.

History

Levedia was founded on March 5, 2019, as the Nationwide Federal Republic of Levedia by Victor Efimov. It has changed many different forms of government, but since March 18, 2022 it is a monarchy (a kingdom).

Politics

Levedia is a monarchy. The head of state is the prince, in charge of the executive branch. There are three institutions of government in the country - Prince, the Senate (legislative branch), and the Crown Council (executive and judicial branches).

Prince is the lifelong, inviolable and sacred head of the state and people of Levedia. He can issue any kind of regulatory legal acts on his behalf at his personal discretion. Currently, the title of Prince of Levedia is occupied by Lota I of the Norvirat dynasty.

The Senate (ll. Senath) is a legislative body whose purpose is to create normative legal acts and take part in the advice of His Highness in governing the country. Elected by universal suffrage by citizens for a period of six months.

The Crown Council is an executive and judicial collective body of power consisting of the Chancellor, who is elected by internal parliamentary vote, the Rector of the Academy (this position is awarded to a representative of the state of Levedia) and the High Treasurer (this position is awarded to a representative of the state of the Commonwealth of the Riverlands). The Council's responsibilities include approving the decisions of the Senate and recognizing the heir to the throne, as well as recognizing the transfer of power.
