Cristoria, officially Kingdom of Cristoria was a micronation located within North America, specifically Toledo, Ohio. The micronation was founded on 6 August 2021 by the Superior Governing Board of Cristoria, following the collapse of the Cristorian Empire. On 11 November 2021, Christopher I took the official throne as King.
Structure and name
The name "Cristoria" didn't have a backstory, other then the fact that Cristoria was named after Christopher I, however, it is a common misconception that it is spelt "Christoria". This is entirely false, it is pronounced as "Christoria" but is spelt as "Cristoria".
History
Following the fall of the Empire of Cristoria and the resignation of the Imperial Government on 4 August 2021, Cristoria was absorbed back into the United States.
Two days later on 6 August 2021, the Superior Governing Board of Cristoria founded a new realm, it was to be a Kingdom under a Parliament.
The new Kingdom inherited some of the Empire's old values, such as keeping the flag and style as Royal Blue, Gray, and White and keeping the Capital the same.
The new Kingdom had no leader for approximately three months, until Christopher I, the former Emperor of the Cristorian Empire, took the crown and was declared the first King of Cristoria.
Following Cristoria's main development phase (August 2021 - February 2022), the Kingdom started opening doors to diplomatic alliances.
On 14 April 2022, the Cristorian Kingdom made it's way to TikTok in hopes of gaining popularity and seeking recognition.
As a result, the King attempted to role-play with the account and saw that it didn't work, so on 22 April 2022 he announced he was going back to being a micronation, opposed to a virtual nation.
During the age of expansion, Cristoria expanded it's land so that it owned all the land it sat on, making the land a total of 0.07 miles.
As the Kingdom continued to develop, it introduced new values to the New World, specifically the United States.
The Kingdom aims to be the most technologically advanced micronation in Ohio, or at the most, Toledo.
On 6 November 2022, the state of Saturnia was announced by King Christopher I and Lightning I was declared as the Prince of the new state.
Conflicts/Wars
In May of 2022, the Cristorian Parliament declared war for the first time in it's history, it was against the Kingdom of Huntia. Huntia's propaganda and claims that Cristoria was a tyrannt sparked the war.
On 8 June 2022, the Cristorian Parliament declared war on the Federation of Gorthia after blaming Cristoria for a cyber attack that happened earlier in the day, thus sparking a propaganda war.
The wars carried out until August of 2022. These wars are more formally known as the War on Gorthalism and the Cristoro-Huntian Cold War.
These wars are the only official recorded wars in the history of the Kingdom. The Parliament wishes to not engage in any future wars if avoidable.
Due to economic decline in the country, the micronation was forced to dissolve in order to maintain safety within it's borders. It's previous territory was handed back to the American Government.
Foundation
Following the fall of the Cristorian Empire, the former Imperial Government formed a new nation and declared it to be a Kingdom.
On 6 August 2021, the Superior Governing Board of Cristoria was appointed to regency, as no one offered to take the crown.
On 9 August 2021, the Superior Governing Board of Cristoria declared the new nation to be a Kingdom and to have the name of Cristoria.
The first regent to ascend to the crown was the former Emperor of the Empire, Christopher I. He took the Crown on 11 November, 2021, nearly three months after the new Kingdom was founded.
Since then, Cristoria has seen no monarch other than Christopher I, however, if needed, Prince Braedyn I would have been next in line for being the monarch.
Armed Forces
Cristoria had four major branches, those being the Royal Cristorian Space Force, Royal Cristorian Navy, Royal Cristorian Air Force, and the Royal Cristorian Army.
Although the Navy wasn't active as much as the others, it was still one of the most funded government organizations in the Kingdom, only second to the Space Force.
Geography
The Kingdom was severely limited to any geographic beauty due to it's size, however, it did have States and a Capital.
The Kingdom planned to expand land in the future, it unfortunately never got the chance to do so, according to the Parliament in 2022.
Territories
Cristoria had one Capital and one State, those being New Toledo and Saturnia. According to the Parliament, it planned to expand, giving more access to Cristorian citizens.

States
States are territories that exist on the main land but are divided into regions, for example, New Toledo is a State if it loses it's job as being the capital. These territories connect to the mainland, meaning any territory that is under Cristoria and is connected to the mainland, receives statehood.
Enclaves
Enclaves are typically territories that are surrounded by other land that isn't connected to the Cristorian mainland and or surrounded by another nation. These are more typically seen with overseas territories Cristoria will eventually get in the future. As of now, no enclaves exist under Cristorian authority and rule.
Capital City
The capital city of Cristoia was the city that represented Cristoria and the Cristorian motive, which was to get all of Toledo. The capital of Cristoria was New Toledo.
Monarch
The Monarch is the head of state and head of government for the Kingdom. They represent Cristoria and do the decision making for the Kingdom. They also get the final decision on everything, even if Parliament votes negatively on said subject.
Government
The monarch can have all the power there is, but they will still need to delegate administration and law making. They're not going to sit there and write laws themselves. Therefore, the Cristorian Kingdom has legislative bodies.
The lowest legislative body of the Kingdom was the House of Lords. They only have the ability to vote on legislative matters, an example would be constitutional amendments.
The highest legislative body of the Kingdom was the House of Commons. They had significantly more power than the House of Lords, but didn't have more power than the monarch. They could've voted for a Motion of no confidence, meaning they can vote if anyone is deemed unfit to lead, like government leaders, or even the monarch, however, they never did within the Kingdom's life. The House of Lords cannot.
Foreign Relations
Since the Cristorian Kingdom was founded in August of 2021, the nation had made many alliances and recognized every macronation and a handful of micronations.
Following the Cristoro-Huntian Cold War, the Cristorian Parliament banned any imports and exports by the Huntian Kingdom. Huntian citizens have been prohibited from entering the nation, as well.

Climate
Cristoria shared it's climate with Toledo, meaning they received the same weather. Toledo and Cristoria typically recieved the same weather and on rare occasions Cristorian climate differed from Toledo.

Culture
Cristoria retained much of it's culture from their parenting country; the United States.
National colors and symbols
Cristoria's national symbols added up and make Cristoria's unique character shine a little more.
National Bird
Cristoria's national bird was the Northern Cardinal. The bird is red and black. It can typically be found in Southeastern Canada, Eastern United States, Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala.
National Animal
Cristoria's national animal was the Tortoiseshell Cat. The type of cat is quite pricy and can be bought at the price of $1,000-2,000. One of Cristoria's residents, whom is a cat, is a tortoiseshell.
National Dish
Cristoria had no official national dish. It was mainly due to the fact that many dishes were served in Cristoria and none were officially chosen.
National Drink
Cristoria's national drink was Coca-Cola, as it was the most imported and exported drink in the micronation. The drink is a soda which is based in the United States, however it is declared as Cristoria's national drink.
National Anthem
Cristoria's national anthem was Humanity's Hope, made by Israeli-American, Inon Zur. The anthem sums up the futuristic and scientific feel Cristoria emitted. The national anthem never changed throughout the Kingdom's lifespan.

National holidays were an integral part of Cristoria's culture as a source of inspiration to contribute to the Kingdom's unique character.
