The Libertarian Party of Cristoria (LPC) (German: Libertäre Partei von Cristoria) or the Cristorian Libertarian Party (CLP) (German: Cristorian Libertäre Partei) is a political party in the Kingdom of Cristoria that party promotes primarily individualism and libertarianism. The party was founded on 19 January 2024 after the Independent Cristorian Party merged with the Cristorian Monarchist Party. However, the leader of the Cristorian Monarchist Party, CCE, would later leave and reform the Monarchist Party following disagreements with Christopher I.

History

The Libertarian Party of Cristoria traces its roots to the Cristorian Monarchist Party, a political party founded in August 2021. The Monarchist Party was led by Christopher I until mid January 2023, when the Republic of Cristoria was established and he as a result established the Independent Cristorian Party, a historically independent party but eventually diverted into a dominantly Marxist party.

The Independent Cristorian Party and the Cristorian Monarchist Party rivaled during the congressional elections that took place every six months periodically. However, the Republic of Cristoria would eventually collapse in September 2023 and the parties were both unofficially abolished. When the Kingdom of Cristoria was refloated in October 2023, the status of the two parties were unknown as the nation was still rebuilding itself. In January 2024, the two parties returned, however, on 19 January 2024, the two parties merged after close talks between the two leaders.

The party formed would later be famously known as the Individualist Party of Cristoria or simply the Cristorian Individualist Party. The party primarily advocated for anarchistic ideals until one of the party's nobility left due to political disagreements, this would later change. On 24 May 2024, the Individualist Party would be renamed to the Libertarian Party by Christopher I as the party primarily expressed libertarian ideals. The party's colors would then be changed from royal blue to gold yellow to further represent the libertarianistic theme.

Structure

The structure of the Libertarian Party is viewed as "basic, yet lethal" by its party members.

Party chair/leader

The person who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Party, setting the overall direction and strategy, and representing the Party to the public. Until his death or resignation, it has been chosen Christopher I to be the leader of the Libertarian Party.

Party vice-chair/leader

The Vice-chair supports the Chair in their duties and takes over their responsibilities in their absence. The vice chair serves as the replacement to the Party's main chair when he or she is absent.

Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for administrative tasks, such as managing the Party's records and documents, organizing meetings and events, and communicating with members. Unlike its subordinate party members, the Secretary isn't an individual, rather a group of individuals.
