Kingdom of Cristoria

Parliament, officially Parliament of the Kingdom of Cristoria is the national legislature of the Kingdom of Cristoria and plays a major role within the Cristorian government. It was initially founded in August 2021, although restored in October 2023 by the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cristoria in Article One, Section Three.[1]

History

Parliament was founded initially in August 2021 under the 2022 government, although the micronation was under the total reign of the Monarch, otherwise known as an absolute monarchy.

In October 2023, after the dissolution of the Republic of Cristoria, Parliament was restored to its former glory.

Houses of Parliament

Parliament is composed of two constituting bodies, being founded by the Constitution of Cristoria. The two houses are the House of Missiones and the House of Scribes in accordance to Article One, Section Three, of the Constitution of Cristoria. With the House of Scribes being the upper-house, it is widely considered to be the most crucial house in the Cristorian government.
