The Commonwealth of Ballinfoyleburg had three official flags, the Civil Ensign, the Civil Flag and the State Flag.
Symbolism
The cross represents religion, the blue represents Germanophilia (from the blue on the Rautenflagge of Bavaria), the green represents Irish nationalism and the white represents Galway City. The crown on the civil ensign represents the leadership of the President is the same one which is used on the coat of arms of Munster
Display
Whenever the national flag is flown on the three flag poles in Pilarskogród alongside the Colours of Galway and the flag of the Army Comrades Association, national flag must always be flown in the centre. Whenever the national flag is flown together with a regional state flag, the national flag must be flown at the centre, above the regional flag

History
The national flag of Ballinfoyleburg was adopted on 8 January 2022. It was originally designed by Doros Patusky. After Ballinfoyleburg transitioned to a commonwealth, a second civil ensign was created which closely resembled the state flag.
Co-official national flags
There were two co-official national flags of Ballinfoyleburg. The first is the "Patusky banner" which was also the only national flag of the Republic of Ballinfoyleburg. The other is the "crown-topped banner" which was adopted as the Civil Ensign after the Ballinfoylish transition to Commonwealth. On the 15th of February 2023, a new civil flag was adopted that replaced the Christian cross with the starry plough.
