Hillburg officially the State of Hillburg was a state of the Commonwealth of Ballinfoyleburg. It was established on 20 December 2021 and is located in the southeast of the Commonwealth. It was the third largest state in the Commonwealth. It was abolished in April 2023 after the Conquest of Ballinfoyleburg. Its territory is now a part of Reichskommissariat Balina
Etymology
The name Hillburg is a merging of the English word "hill" and the German suffix "burg" which translates to walled town or fort.
History
Hillburg was established on the 20 December 2021 by Ballinfoylish vice President Ludwig Collins. At the time of its foundation, it was the smallest state in the Republic. On the 27 March 2022, Thomas Jacobs and Ludwig Collins reformed and standardised the Ballinfoylish provinces. In these reforms, Hillburg was divided into West and East Hillburg. The province remained divided until the federalisation of Ballinfoyleburg on 30 May, when Hillburg reunited.
It was annexed to Östruck in a joint invasion with Roscamistan on the 8th of April 2023.
