Castlegar Village (Irish: An Caisleán Gearr, meaning "Short Castle") officially the State of Castlegar Village was a state in the Commonwealth of Ballinfoyleburg. It was located in the east of the Commonwealth. It was also the second largest state in the country. Castlegar began as a village and Roman Catholic parish of the Deanery of Galway Rural before being absorbed by Ballinfoyleburg as a state.

It was annexed by Östruck in the Conquest of Ballinfoyleburg as part of Reichskommissariat Balina.
