On October 15th, 2018, elections for Princeps Altannés were held. These were the first elections to Princeps to have PAUN win a plurality of the votes, and they resulted in a PAUN Princeps Senior.
These elections meant a significant backlash for FAP, probably due to its traditional forerunners, Ana Bango and Rebeca del Monte, being disallowed from running. These were the first elections since August 2017 not to re-elect a Princeps. These were the last elections to have a party list from FAA, which fell significantly in support as well.
Statistics
The FAP suffered a very dramatic fall in popularity, while different FAP members still accounted for a sizeable chunk of the total votes, remaining strong as a second force. PAUN, on the other hand, saw most of its support in the form of direct party votes, rather than individual support to party members.
